With all its imperfections and contradictions, India is my country and I am proud to be an Indian. Last night, our nation was attacked. Once again, terror came to Mumbai, India’s financial/commercial capital.
Why is it that we as a nation have always been a soft target? Whether it was the Afghanis hundreds of years back, the marauding East India Company – British Raj or the Pakistanis in the last sixty years?
Our intelligence agencies have once again failed to stop this terror attack. The very police chief, Hemant Karkare, who led the investigation – which revealed the ugly side of home-grown terror in the Malegaon Blast, was one of the killed in last night’s terror attack.
Why do we have to give the benefit of doubt to the Pakistani government or its military and intelligence agency (ISI)? They have caused so much harm to our nation in the last six decades, that there is no reason to think they have good intentions towards India.
The Russian Intelligence can’t be wrong.
ISI and Pakistan Military are the worst terrorist organizations in the world. Of course the CIA trained them to ‘liberate Afghainstan and then Talebanise it’.
When the Indian Airlines flight was hijacked and taken to Kandahar… we should have cleaned up Pakistan. Instead, a weak-kneed BJP government traded terrorists for the safety of the innocent passengers. What they say is… they had no other go?
The aircraft landed in Dubai after it was hijacked. Women and children were allowed to go free as per reports. How come no effort was made to ground the airline? They could have damaged the plane while it was at the airport – so that a take-off was impossible. The Indian government should have been firm with the Dubai and UAE government then. We missed a big opportunity. A big one that too.
A few years later, Pakistani forces invaded Indian territory in Kargil. It was made to look like the invaders were Mujahudeens (Islamic freedom fighters). When Indian army started to murder these infiltrators, the Pakistani army refused to take back the dead bodies of their troops. Gen Musharaf and his dirty military was behind the attack; Kargil was his trump to become the next military ruler.… The intercepted radio message of Musharaf giving orders from China is clear evidence – we should have pushed for him to be tried at The Hague for war crimes. Instead, the BJP government invited him to his ancestral home in India. Gave him a royal red carpet welcome, in the hope of signing a Simla Agreement. An Enemy, and that too – a War Criminal, was accorded a hero’s welcome.
Musharaf has never been a friend of our nation. The military and secret [un]intelligence wings of Pakistan are followers of one religion: Anti-India. What Islam are they talking about?
There have been many more bomb blasts, attack on our parliament and what not. Still India has never attacked Pakistan. Pakistan has always wanted to negotiate with India on Kashmir – they just don’t get it – if there are Pakistani lovers living in Indian territory – they are free to go to Pakistan and enjoy the economic and spiritual prosperity that country affords.
Today, Pakistan-trained mercenaries are holding 100s of Indians hostage in Mumbai. The city is under siege; our nation is in a state of shock.
What do we do now? Enough is enough. We have signed a defence and nuclear deal with the Americans – it’s their turn to back us. Let us take Pakistan out – get rid of all these weed-smoking mullahs who have a control over the innocent population. Pakistani terror is being funded through money laundering and other illegal activities by the ISI.
CIA and almost all government heads know where the money is laundered, where drugs are produced and sold. It’s a dangerous country – this Pakistan. It breeds terror, unlimited number of terrorists. Soviet Union made one mistake; they should have bombed the crap out of that country long back. That they failed to do it was the reason why they lost in Afghanistan.
It’s time to take out Pakistan; the mother of Taliban and all terrorist activities.
OK, there is a great deal of good people in Pakistan. I agree. But the only big AXIS of evil – PAKISTAN must be terminated. We are a democratic nation; we just don’t understand the tribal, cultural and religious ideology that nation spews and tries to pass on to our democracy. For the sake of democracy and peace, we must get all like-minded nations to wage a war on Pakistan. About time we did that. Are our politicians, who are only interested in either appeasing Muslims or Hindus for the sake of votes are ready to fight a war for peace?
This statement was made before the terrorists attacked India, earlier on 26th November:
Pakistan and India Wednesday condemned terrorism in all forms and manifestations and affirmed their resolve to cooperate with each other to combat the menace of terrorism.
This was stated in a joint communique issued at the conclusion of the 5th round of interior/home secretary level talks between Pakistan and India on Terrorism and Drugs Trafficking here Wednesday.
The same evening, with the knowledge of the Pakistani government, India is attacked. What do we do?
Obama didn’t find it necessary to speak out against this terror attack; a statement was provided through the spokesperson. The president-elect is still in campaign mode.
Does he have a soft corner towards the Pakistani regime and system? In 1981, while returning from Indonesia, he did visit Pakistan.
Obama spent “about three weeks” in Pakistan, traveling with Hamid and staying in Karachi with Chandoo’s family (two wealthy Pakistanis), according to Bill Burton, Obama’s press secretary.
About time the real Obama said something.
Today, 27th November, Associated Press of Pakistan had this to report:
ATS, CBI suspect Omar Abdullah’s involvement in Malegaon blasts
That country, Pakistan, can never be our friend or even a neighbour. Pakistan is evil and they must be disbanded. Let Baluchistan be a free country and whatever bits and pieces be all free from ISI and Pakistani military.
Oh yes, we even tried cricket democracy. Sachin Tendulkar and every Indian cricketer should refuse to play Pakistan or with any Pakistani cricketer.
Let’s have a real war. Enough of these proxy wars.
Some of the readers would try to give me a few lessons in Gandhi Karate. This is not a time to be rational. I know India has to wage many wars, especially the one against poverty. I am being irrational today: The state of Pakistan must be taken out of the world map.
